Scanlan Recovery Jul 4, 2011 MOSES LAKE POLICE DEPARTMENT Public Service Announcement Captain Ruffin 764-3896 On 06/29/22, at approximately 3:20 P.M., a resident on Northshore Drive observed a body floating nearby in the lake. The Moses Lake Police Department and Moses Lake Fire units responded and were able to recover the body. The body has been identified as that of Robert B. Scanlan, a 25 year old Moses Lake resident. Scanlan had previously been reported missing by family members on Saturday, June 26th, 2011. There were no obvious signs of trauma located, however detectives are still investigating until the cause and manner of death can be determined. An autopsy has been scheduled.
