Diesel Fuel Theft Oct 25, 2011 MOSES LAKE POLICE DEPARTMENT MAJOR INCIDENT NEWS RELEASE CASE# 11ML14086 TYPE OF INCIDENT: Theft DATE: 10/23/11 LOCATION: 14000 Block E. Wheeler, MLK TIME: 4:00 A..M. WHERE AND WHEN ARRESTED: N/A ARRESTING OFFICERS: N/A DETAILS OF INCIDENT: On 10/23/11, at approximately 4:00 A. M., Moses Lake Officers were dispatched to Simplot. Investigation showed that a suspect had just taken approximately 250 gallons of diesel fuel. The suspect vehicle was described as a white van flatbed conversion vehicle. The fuel was stolen from commercial vehicles parked there. The investigation is ongoing, and a suspect has been identified in this case. During the investigation a search warrant was served in the 10000 block of Road 7 NE. Although the suspect was not located, officers did arrest 3 subjects for unrelated misdemeanor warrants.
