Greetings to all from the Moses Lake Police Department! As we are embarking on a New Year we have some programs that we would like to introduce to help the city, as McGruff would say, "Take a Bite Out of Crime". During the past year, we established a Block Watch Community in several areas within the Moses Lake City Limits. My goal for the coming year is to cover the entire city! What is Block Watch? In essence it is neighbors looking out for neighbors. We have had terrific results from the Block Watch neighborhoods that have been established. So we are asking for the publics help in establishing Block Watch in all of our Neighborhoods! All that is required is that you get to meet your neighbors then contact me, Bob Carpenter, at 764-3914. We'll set a time and place to speak with all of your neighbors about establishing a Block Watch Program.
